Key Responsibilities

Ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing by managing purchase order adjustments with suppliers to fulfill Material Requirements Planning (MRP) demands.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain problems involving engineering, manufacturing, program managers, and supplier account management.
Oversee procurement activities to secure purchases at the optimum cost, considering quality, supplier reliability, and urgency.
Drive efforts to reduce inventory levels and eliminate excess and obsolete stock.
Manage and execute assigned purchasing projects, controlling cost, schedule, and scope.
Handle sensitive and complex information collaboratively with supplier leadership and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvements within the purchasing team and serve as a trainer for departmental procurement activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, business drivers, and market competition.
Proven leadership ability to manage small projects and build consensus among diverse teams.

Additional Information

Employment Type: Full-time, regular position.
Travel Requirement: Approximately 10% of the time.
