About the Role
PMEP Consulting Ltd. is seeking Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers across junior, intermediate, and senior levels to work on premium building services projects in Dublin. The role involves collaborating within a professional team to deliver design solutions from concept stage through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver mechanical and electrical building services designs covering all phases of projects.
- Design essential systems such as power distribution, lighting, heating, ventilation, and other related services.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams ensuring smooth coordination.
- Maintain high technical standards in project delivery.
- Engage directly with clients and project stakeholders, especially at senior levels.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers (senior roles).
- Assume greater responsibility for specific project components as experience grows (intermediate roles).
Candidate Requirements
Senior Engineers:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Building Services Engineering.
- Substantial experience within an Irish building services consultancy.
- Demonstrated ability in project delivery and client interaction.
- Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills.
- Capabilities to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
Intermediate Engineers:
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in building services design.
- Prior consultancy exposure.
- Robust technical aptitude and coordination skills.
- Aspired to advance towards senior roles.
Junior Engineers:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Building Services Engineering.
- Keen enthusiasm for building services design.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
