About the Role
MARS Cosmetics, a renowned global beauty brand headquartered in New Delhi, is seeking an experienced Brand Manager with 4-5 years of relevant experience. The company emphasizes innovation, diversity, and empowerment by providing top-quality beauty products designed to meet the evolving demands of consumers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison (SPOC) for the assigned brand, coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging, positioning, and consumer experience across all touchpoints including product launches and communications.
- Manage and drive the brand calendar to ensure the punctual implementation of initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) to facilitate smooth product creation and launch processes.
- Coordinate with multiple departments such as Marketing, Creative, Design, Sales, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to keep projects aligned and on schedule.
- Set clear timelines, define deliverables, identify dependencies, and prepare for launch readiness.
- Proactively identify issues in execution and lead efforts to resolve them effectively.
- Plan and manage the comprehensive go-to-market strategy, ensuring all creative content, product details, pricing, merchandising, and communications are prepared before launch.
- Support integrated marketing efforts across digital channels, influencer collaborations, public relations, retail, and e-commerce.
- Create and maintain detailed annual and monthly brand calendars to track and oversee campaign executions.
- Ensure consistency and quality in brand initiatives, delivered punctually and with precision.
- Stay updated on beauty industry trends, competitor activities, category innovations, and consumer behaviors to derive actionable insights supporting product and marketing decisions.
- Monitor brand performance metrics such as sales, campaign outcomes, inventory status, and product results; prepare regular business reviews to spotlight growth opportunities and optimize performance.
Candidate Profile
- 4 to 5 years of professional experience in Brand Management, Product Marketing, Category Management, or related marketing functions within beauty, FMCG, personal care, fashion, or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven ability to efficiently work across diverse cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising attention to detail.
- Strong analytical proficiency to extrapolate meaningful insights from data.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-driven with a high ownership mentality and strong execution focus.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- An MBA in Marketing or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or consumer product brands is advantageous.
- Background in launching new products and managing integrated marketing campaigns.
