Overview
We are inviting applications for a BIM Modeler position focused on infrastructure projects based in Stralsund, Germany. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed 3D specialized models aligned with the standards set by Deutsche Bahn. Responsibilities also include deriving plans, quantities, and component lists from the BIM models and performing collision detection and quality assurance checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage 3D technical models for infrastructure undertakings.
- Conduct modeling in compliance with Deutsche Bahn's BIM guidelines.
- Generate plans, quantity takeoffs, and component lists from BIM data.
- Execute collision and quality checks on BIM models.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training or degree in construction, surveying, technical drawing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of three years' professional experience is preferred.
- Proficient in leading BIM/CAD software, preferably used in railway or infrastructure sectors, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, or ProVI.
- Experience with model coordination and review tools like Navisworks.
- Willingness to acquire additional necessary qualifications.
- Demonstrates reliability, organizational skills, adaptability, commitment to excellence, and capacity for teamwork.
- Possession of a valid Class B driver's license is advantageous.
- Good command of the German language.
