Role overview

Star Group is looking for a Barista to join the NZCIS Campus in Upper Hutt, Wellington. The campus is a large 18-hectare venue that brings together sports teams, local groups, and business visitors for training, recovery, dining, and meetings. It also includes elite playing fields, accommodation on site, food service, conference facilities, and contemporary office areas.

This role suits someone who brings a consistently upbeat attitude, strong hospitality instincts, and a genuine focus on service. The team is after a person who can create a welcoming start to the day, make great coffee, and keep a lively, positive atmosphere for guests.

What the role involves

You will be part of the campus hospitality team, serving coffee and supporting a high-energy, customer-facing environment. The role calls for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep pace during busy periods, and contributes to a friendly guest experience.

Experience and fit
