Role Summary
The 3rd Key position focuses on driving sales growth through excellent customer service, adhering to company standards, and supervising associates to ensure smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by delivering excellent customer service.
- Provide consistent, documented feedback on sales performance to associates, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement aligned with company goals.
- Ensure the store maintains visual standards in merchandising, signage, and cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance in line with the dress code policy.
- Safeguard company assets according to retail policies.
- Assist with store scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage while managing wage expenses.
- Manage store inventory accurately including receiving, transfers, price changes, and counts in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain required documentation and records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Execute store opening and closing procedures per the operations manual.
- Participate in and support company training programs, maintaining sales and task goals.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training store staff on operations and procedures.
- Promote adherence to company policies among store associates, including safeguarding inventory and funds.
- Perform tasks delegated by supervisors and undertake work of subordinates when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Proven capability in generating sales results while minimizing inventory loss.
- Excellent interpersonal and clear verbal communication skills.
- Competence in using computers and related software.
- Physical ability to lift items up to 50 pounds and climb ladders, including overhead work.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift.
- Capacity to work independently without supervision.
Education
High school graduation or equivalent is preferred; applicants with less than a high school diploma may also be considered.
