Job description
Position Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor role requires managing the everyday operations of the warehouse to ensure goods are accurately received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a secure and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide warehouse personnel, managing schedules, overseeing performance, and providing training.
- Design and improve warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize efficiency and space use.
- Maintain precise inventory control by conducting cycle counts, stock verifications, and resolving discrepancies.
- Supervise loading and unloading processes with attention to correct documentation and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Enforce company safety standards, arranging regular safety education and checks.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse machinery, planning repairs and preventive upkeep.
- Collaborate closely with logistics, purchasing, and production teams to maintain smooth operations and meet targets.
- Ensure accuracy of all warehouse-related transactions within the SAP system.
- Compile and review reports on warehouse metrics to identify improvements and implement solutions.
- Adhere to all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Engage in the deployment and integration of new warehouse technologies and solutions.
- Maintain compliance with both external and internal operational standards and regulations.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- Three to five years of warehouse operation experience, including a minimum of two years in supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills in dynamic work environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse safety standards and regulations.
- Competency in operating warehouse tools including forklifts and pallet jacks, with proper certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective staff interaction.
- A diploma or equivalent certification is mandatory; a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields is advantageous.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
