About the Role
Join Hitachi Energy as an HR Business Partner where you will play a critical role in aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives. You will be tasked with workforce planning, performance and succession management, partnering directly with business leaders to ensure the organization is well-positioned to meet both present and future talent demands. Close collaboration with the talent acquisition team will ensure recruitment strategies effectively attract and retain quality talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current workforce numbers to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing gaps and forecast future personnel requirements.
- Lead organizational restructuring projects as necessary to support business goals.
- Maintain accuracy and regularly update data in workforce planning tools.
- Generate and monitor reports related to headcount metrics.
- Develop and implement Saudization strategies working with leaders to meet regulatory targets.
- Design recruitment and retention plans aimed at increasing female representation at all organizational tiers, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Provide recruitment consultations and compensation guidance to hiring teams.
- Manage the full global performance management cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Coach managers on effective performance evaluation techniques to enhance team outcomes.
- Lead talent review sessions to assess performance and potential, identifying high-potential employees and facilitating development plans.
- Establish succession plans by identifying key roles and successors to prepare employees for leadership roles.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to implement training programs that build employee capabilities.
- Drive strategies to boost participation in employee engagement surveys and develop action plans with management to improve workplace culture.
- Customize global initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs to fit local cultural contexts effectively.
- Oversee the annual salary review process and manage off-cycle adjustments to maintain competitive compensation.
- Review and enhance allowances and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and external legal requirements.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR with at least 3 years functioning as an HR Business Partner or equivalent in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of workforce planning, talent and performance management concepts.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of local labor laws, especially relating to localization and Saudization mandates.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
