Role Overview

Join Lidl GB as a Warehouse Cleaner, where you'll play an essential role maintaining cleanliness and safety in our Severn Beach warehouse. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of A313.65, covering a 40-hour weekly contract. Shifts are available on the morning schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or the day shift in the Chiller Department from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Keep the entire warehouse clean and orderly, including floors, fixtures, and removing spillages
• Collect and dispose of waste packaging to minimize hazards
• Maintain 'clean as you go' stations by replenishing supplies such as tissue rolls and hazard signs
• Ensure fire exits remain clear of obstruction and free of litter
• Empty recycling points and transfer waste to designated recycling areas
• Operate cleaning equipment with confidence and care
• Consistently uphold hygiene and health and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Prior cleaning or maintenance experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Adhere strictly to corporate conduct codes and internal standards
• Flexibility to undertake various tasks beyond cleaning, excluding picking

Additional Information

Subsidised transportation is available from Weston-Super-Mare and Newport at A32 per journey for all shifts. Employment is contingent on successful reference checks and, where required, a satisfactory DBS clearance.
