Job Overview

Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd is seeking a Team Lead to oversee last mile supply chain operations at our Dharwad hub. This role involves managing day-to-day activities ensuring smooth shipment handling, delivery, and adherence to operational guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise timely opening and closing of the hub according to operational standards.
• Manage and oversee sorters responsible for receiving shipments.
• Plan and allocate shipments optimally for bike and van deliveries based on available resources.
• Train all team members to ensure full compliance with established operational procedures.
• Sort shipments according to predefined delivery routes.
• Generate Runsheets and Pickup sheets, assigning daily tasks to Warehouse Managers (WMs).
• Compile reports, monitor correspondence, and respond to emails promptly.
• Conduct ERP system transactions and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Prepare and disseminate daily end-of-day reports.
• Handle cash collection, accounting, and subsequent reconciliation using ERP tools.
• Participate in shipment delivery or pickups when operationally necessary.
• Lead the assigned team with focus on motivation, reducing attrition, resolving grievances, training, and achieving zero customer escalations following company OKRs.
• Support the company-wide adoption of new policies and procedural changes seamlessly.
• Monitor undelivered shipments via ERP, contacting customers to investigate non-delivery causes.
• Track real-time performance of Wish Masters to ensure timely completion of all deliveries.
• Provide operational support and guidance to Wish Masters during field deliveries.
• Maintain zero unexplained stock variances at hubs daily.
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators aligned with organizational goals for the Team Lead position.
