Team Lead

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Team Lead will oversee the operational functioning of the hub, ensuring that all opening and closing procedures comply with set standards and operational requirements. They will directly supervise Sorters handling incoming shipments and orchestrate resource planning for bike and van delivery allocations.

• Manage and monitor the Sorters processing shipments to maintain efficiency.
• Plan daily operations based on available resources and allocate shipments to delivery personnel appropriately.
• Train and ensure all team members understand and follow operational guidelines.
• Organize sorting of shipments following predetermined routes.
• Generate Runsheets and Pickup sheets, assigning daily duties to Warehouse Managers (WMs).
• Prepare various operational reports, handle correspondence via email, and execute transactions within the ERP system.
• Create and distribute Day End reports summarizing daily activities.
• Handle cash collection, accounting, and reconcile transactions with ERP records.
• Support shipment delivery or pickup when operationally necessary.
• Lead the assigned team by motivating, minimizing attrition, managing grievances, and ensuring comprehensive training and coaching aligned with Objectives and Key Results (OKR).
• Support seamless implementation of new policies and processes within the organization.
• Monitor undelivered shipments through the ERP system and follow up with customers to identify delivery failure reasons.
• Track Warehouse Masters’ performance in real-time to guarantee timely completion of deliveries.
• Provide en-route assistance to Warehouse Masters and intervene as required.
• Ensure daily zero stock discrepancies at hubs are maintained without unexplained variances.
• Meet and strive to exceed Key Performance Indicators as outlined by the company's goals for Team Leads.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed any undergraduate degree to be considered for this position.
