Revenue Analyst

Role Overview

The Revenue Analyst will focus on optimizing inventory management by recognizing early indicators of demand fluctuations and reacting swiftly to maximize sales. This role involves thorough analysis of historical passenger trends, competitive dynamics, seasonal patterns, and other sales-influencing factors. The position requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and operational teams to ensure revenue management strategies are aligned with the company’s broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify early demand patterns in inventory and respond to high and low sales periods efficiently.
• Conduct regular evaluations of passenger behaviors, competition, and seasonal trends affecting revenues.
• Provide regular reports and insights to management to aid decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—sales, marketing, and operations—to synchronize revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyze airline market capacity continually and assess its relevance.
• Stay informed about industry developments and competitor movements to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Support group fare assessments and manage fare quoting processes.
• Assist in decisions related to flight schedule uploads and provide administrative assistance in this area.

Prerequisites and Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 12 or equivalent is essential; Bachelor of Commerce degree or similar qualification, or alternatively 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in aviation is an advantage.
• Clean criminal background and sound credit history required.
• Willingness to work beyond conventional office hours.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to gather data and deduce logical conclusions.
• Proficient in various computer applications.
• Impeccable punctuality and time management.
