Responsibilities

• Manage the entire procurement cycle to support business objectives and achieve cost efficiency.
• Continuously identify and develop new or alternative suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and cost savings.
• Coordinate Request for Quotes (RFQs) with suppliers and internal teams ensuring specifications compliance while optimizing cost and quality.
• Oversee procurement processes to mitigate supply risks concerning capacity, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in supplier development and onboarding qualifications.
• Aim to deliver an annual procurement cost saving target of 5%.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Have at least five years of direct experience in sourcing or procurement roles.
• Preferably have experience within manufacturing or electro-mechanical industries.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with suppliers in China.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
