Junior HTML CSS Developer

About the Role

Olive Tree Consulting Group seeks a Junior HTML CSS Developer to join our advisory team and support a key Saudi client through organizational expansion. This is a full-time, permanent role conducted remotely, ideal for someone at the start of their career who enjoys converting structured ideas into clear and efficient digital designs.

Our advisory projects result in enhanced management habits and documented decision-making frameworks. Your role will be to transform these frameworks into accessible and well-organized digital formats usable by the client’s teams daily. The focus is not on complex software development but on producing clean code that improves clarity and navigation in management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, semantic HTML and CSS to construct internal resource and documentation pages for clients.
• Convert organizational charts and process diagrams into responsive, readable web layouts suitable for leadership teams.
• Collaborate with advisory staff to convert meeting notes and strategy texts into systematic digital archives.
• Update and maintain existing digital templates to ensure consistency in functionality and appearance.
• Perform cross-browser and device testing to guarantee an optimal user experience.
• Assist in organizing internal documentation repositories to facilitate access and reuse of effective frameworks.
• Participate in periodic meetings to understand client-specific needs and align digital solutions accordingly.

Candidate Profile

• Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, including layout techniques such as Flexbox and Grid.
• Preference for simple, clear code and design over unnecessary complexity.
• Meticulous attention to detail focusing on typographic precision, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Effective written communication skills enabling explanation of technical decisions to non-technical colleagues.
• A curious and learning-oriented mindset toward management and organizational challenges.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while staying coordinated with team objectives.
• Patient problem-solving approach to fine-tune layouts until they meet exact standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Some experience gained through personal projects, academic work, or internships related to web development.
• Understanding of responsive design principles adapting to mobile devices.
• Basic familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Interest in information architecture and user interaction with digital content.
• Exposure to Markdown or static site generators is advantageous.
