Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and client-oriented IT Support Officer to join our expanding information technology team based in the UAE. This position offers flexible full-time or part-time arrangements and provides a valuable chance to advance your IT career in a dynamic and cooperative setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver first-level technical assistance through phone, email, and ticket management channels
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network problems effectively
- Set up, configure, and maintain various computing devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile units
- Manage user accounts, including password resets and access control administration
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, email services, and provide remote troubleshooting
- Escalate complex technical incidents to higher-level IT personnel as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of service requests, solutions, and technical procedures
- Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and application installations to systems
- Ensure issues are resolved promptly with excellent customer care
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general hardware knowledge
- Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN
- Experience with Active Directory, ticketing platforms, and remote support tools is a plus
- Outstanding communication and customer support skills
- Effective task prioritization and ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Positive mindset with enthusiasm to learn and grow professionally
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related area preferred
- Previous experience in helpdesk, IT support, or desktop support environments is advantageous
- Entry-level applicants with relevant projects or internships are encouraged to apply
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL, or Cisco enhance candidacy
