Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator

Role Overview

This part-time remote position merges the roles of an Instructional Designer and a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and organizing online courses and learning pathways focused on CAD/CAM/CAE subjects. Key tasks include developing storyboards, establishing clear learning objectives, and structuring training modules to ensure an engaging and effective educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform needs analysis to identify learner requirements and gaps.
• Collaborate to develop curriculum plans that align with training objectives.
• Create assessments and evaluation tools that measure learning outcomes.
• Optimize course content for delivery through LMS platforms or video-based media.
• Manage course enrollments and monitor learner progress.
• Maintain and analyze learning data to inform continuous improvement.
• Enhance the user experience based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in needs analysis and managing online learning environments.
• Proficiency in instructional design principles and curriculum development.
• Experience with training and development practices, including supporting learners and evaluating training effectiveness.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE software and technical educational content is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience using LMS platforms and tools for online course creation or video delivery is preferred.
• Strong written communication and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Educational background in instructional design, engineering, education, or related disciplines is favorable.
