About the Role
Join Aramark Canada as a General Utility Worker at our Haliburton, Ontario location, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen dishes, equipment, and work areas. Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including the three-compartment sink and adjacent areas.
- Check that all equipment is clean and functional, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly to management.
- Carry out light maintenance and custodial duties as required to uphold the work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and coworkers.
- Adhere strictly to Aramark's safety policies, focusing on appropriate food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Help secure company assets through responsible actions and awareness.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures is necessary.
- Ability to comply with safety standards, especially regarding handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical capability to perform demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
