Role Summary
The Front Door Greeter plays a vital role in merchandise security, monitoring all entrance and exit activity while delivering exceptional customer service to members.
Team Member Responsibilities

Member Engagement
- Provide excellent service at every interaction point by greeting, assisting, and thanking members.

Operational Knowledge
- Understand production and financial performance reports related to your responsibilities.
- Recognize how consistent execution impacts business success.
Key Duties
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional member service at all times, escalating concerns to management when required.
- Follow all merchandise protection and shrink alert procedures with comprehensive knowledge.
- Maintain the AP Alert Binder per loss prevention standards.
- Execute BEST procedures (bottom of the cart, electronics, self-checkout, thanking members), including cross-checking purchases and verifying high-value item purchases.
- Audit processes such as Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pickup, and Same Day Delivery following company guidelines.
- Implement repack awareness by inspecting identified repack items.
- Monitor all member and visitor traffic entering and leaving the store.
- Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms according to policy.
- Ensure safety standards for members and colleagues are upheld constantly.
- Inspect bags and personal belongings of employees, members, and vendors upon exit.
- Process empty water jug return vouchers efficiently.
- Adhere to all club policies and perform other duties or departmental assignments as required.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance as a core part of this role.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical abilities preferred.
- Competency in using smart handheld devices.
- Successful completion of required training and certifications.
- Minimum six months of employment with the company.
- Must be at least 18 years old; age requirements may vary by state (Indiana: 19, Delaware: 21).
Work Environment
- This role requires standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces.
- Tasks include bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and occasional ladder/climbing use.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds might be necessary.
- Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures is expected.
Compensation Note
