Role Overview
The Food Service Worker is tasked with performing assigned contract duties safely and with a high standard of quality customer service. A willingness to learn all facets of the position is essential. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Follow oral and/or written instructions accurately.
- Engage professionally with customers, government officials, and fellow staff members.
- Fulfill eligibility criteria for the specific work assignments.
- Successfully pass organizational screening including applicable state or federal background checks.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to travel to different locations and buildings throughout the year, often in varying weather conditions.
- Work primarily indoors but may involve use of cleaning chemicals.
- Adaptability to shift schedules including early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capabilities include frequent bending, crouching, walking, stair and ladder climbing, reaching overhead, sitting (for driving), and lifting up to 40 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- May be expected to clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using shovels or snowplows when necessary.
