Maintenance Operator

Overview

This is an entry-level role focused on performing fundamental maintenance duties within our brewery operations. The role demands physical stamina, high motivation, and flexibility with scheduling. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the position involves maintaining equipment and facilities according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all quality standards established for maintenance work at Monster Brewing Company.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with brewery equipment and building systems.
• Execute basic repair and upkeep tasks across the brewery facility.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment appropriately.
• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe at all times.
• Promptly report potential safety or quality issues to management.
• Accurately document all maintenance activities as they occur.
• Perform additional facility-related duties as assigned.

• Understanding of safe and proper equipment operation procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and capability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.
• Work independently and collaborate well within a team environment.
• Maintain high attention to detail and work efficiently in high-pressure scenarios.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties including lifting up to 50 pounds to shoulder height and pushing or pulling up to 160 pounds.
• Expected to perform a range of physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and operating tools and controls.
• Comfortable working in sometimes extreme environments and handling the role's operational stressors.
• Availability to work weekend or overnight shifts may be required.

Additional Information

• Employment is full-time and non-exempt.
• Hourly wage is $20.75.
• Supervisor: Maintenance Manager or Operations Manager.
• No direct reports.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• No required travel or driving.
• Tools used include brewery equipment, pallet jack, forklift, and scissor lift.
