Position Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team on a fully onsite basis in New Port Richey, FL. This role is initially a 4-month contract with potential for extension. The coordinator will support clinical research protocols under the direction of the Principal Investigator and experienced research professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution and management of clinical research protocols following guidance from senior research staff.
- Conduct participant screening visits including gathering medical history and relevant data.
- Facilitate informed consent and participant enrollment adhering to study protocols and ethical standards.
- Organize and coordinate scheduling of study visits, clinical procedures, and follow-up sessions between participants and clinical teams.
- Meticulously collect, document, and maintain clinical research data and source documents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Engage with study participants to provide education, answer their inquiries, and encourage compliance with study parameters.
- Track study progress, reporting any adverse events, deviations from protocol, or other related concerns to the research team promptly.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in health-related disciplines preferred.
- Previous experience in participant screening and informed consent processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture tools, clinical trial management software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite recommended.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is advantageous.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator or willingness to obtain such credential is preferred.
