Role Overview

We see the candidate experience as a mirror of our culture — innovative, collaborative, and inclusive. As a Candidate Experience Specialist, you will be the primary representative of NBCUniversal to prospective candidates. Your goal will be to ensure a smooth, professional, and memorable hiring journey by acting as both a strategic advisor to recruiters and hands-on executor of interview logistics. Your work will help craft an exceptional experience that aligns with the energy and creativity of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the candidate experience by acting as the main strategic partner for hiring teams, owning the entire interview process, and being the primary contact for candidates.
• Independently develop communication strategies, set clear expectations, and uphold transparency and professionalism in all candidate interactions consistent with NBCUniversal brand values.
• Design and coordinate interview processes across various time zones and platforms, deciding on the format (panel, one-on-one, virtual, onsite), sequencing, and scheduling.
• Provide expert advice to hiring teams, gaining consensus on interview plans prior to implementation.
• Arrange and prepare onsite interview spaces ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Manage all aspects of candidate travel and onsite logistics, including itinerary planning to mitigate potential challenges and proactive problem-solving.
• Oversee technology setup and hospitality on-site to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for candidates.
• Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers by offering guidance on best practices, accessibility, and engagement strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and resolve conflicts through a solutions-oriented approach.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance, and clearly communicate process guidelines and escalation paths for resolving candidate concerns consistently and confidently.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, guest relations, or related roles within Human Resources or Hospitality sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to make independent, informed decisions following established processes.
• Strong situational awareness paired with insightful problem-solving capabilities.
• Confidence to handle ambiguous scenarios effectively.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced work environments.

Additional Information and Benefits

• This role currently follows a hybrid schedule, requiring at least four days per week onsite, with flexibility subject to company policy changes.
• The position offers company-sponsored benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and various discounts and perks.
• Salary range is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
• As part of the hiring process, candidates may be invited for in-person interviews at an NBCUniversal location.
