Business Intelligence Admin - Tableau / Power BI

Role Overview

This contract position is for a Business Intelligence Administrator responsible for supporting Tableau and Power BI platforms in a fully remote setup based in Canada. The role centers on keeping BI environments secure, stable, and well-governed so teams can rely on accurate reporting and analytics.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of Tableau and Power BI systems, including user permissions, access control, security settings, and governance practices.
• Keep an eye on platform health, identify and resolve technical problems, and help maintain strong availability for BI tools.
• Handle deployment of dashboards, reports, and data sources across different environments.
• Set up and manage data refresh timing, server-level settings, and platform upgrade activities.
• Work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to support dependable reporting and analytics delivery.
