Business Analyst Supervisor

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

This position is critical in collaborating with business stakeholders to drive ongoing improvements and business transformation efforts. It serves as a vital connection between business units and IT by translating business requirements and rules into technical language. The role also involves coordinating with business analysts to ensure effective workload distribution and timely task completion.

Key Areas of Focus

• Collect and assess analysis team outputs, identify enhancement opportunities, and implement metrics and control mechanisms for departmental goal achievement efficiency.
• Apply problem-solving abilities to reveal integrated solutions through data storytelling, identifying and quantifying potential improvements.
• Leverage understanding of business operations to proactively aid Business Analysts, teams, departments, and the overall organization.
• Support the business process manager in hardware management activities.
• Facilitate skill development within the functional team and deepen comprehension of organizational needs.
• Analyze reports and data trends to suggest productivity enhancements.
• Diagnose operational challenges and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Aggregate and analyze daily reports from business analysts for submission to the business process manager.
• Coordinate annual leave planning for the team to maintain consistent division operations.
• Create and ensure adherence to project and upgrade schedules among all assigned personnel.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Between 5 and 7 years of professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, notably Excel at an intermediate level.
• Demonstrates strong professional ethics.
• Well-versed in business and systems analysis methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of product development processes and supporting technology needs.
