About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate applications of AI and autonomous agents in transforming procurement processes.
• Design, build, and test prototypes, AI-powered workflows, and use cases for procurement.
• Identify areas where AI implementation can deliver significant business advantages.
• Assess AI-generated outputs to enhance quality and decision-making capabilities.
• Develop insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Contribute an AI-centric perspective within a cross-functional team comprising procurement leaders, transformation experts, and AI engineers.

Candidate Profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Science disciplines.
• Regular user of AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or equivalents.
• Possesses strong curiosity, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for tackling complex problems.
• Comfortable with experimentation, quick learning, and challenging existing approaches.
• Excellent communicator capable of translating ideas into actionable outcomes.

Additional Information

Bayer champions Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO), replacing hierarchical models to empower innovators and creators across the company. This internship runs between 3 to 6 months with flexible start dates. You will receive mentorship and gain hands-on experience while deepening your theoretical expertise.
