Role Overview
This position is responsible for guiding and coordinating outbound warehouse activities so that orders are processed efficiently, shipments leave on time, and all work stays within warehouse capacity, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize the day’s work according to order levels and transaction volumes to support prompt processing and dispatch.
- Oversee warehouse administrators and outsourced workers across activities such as picking, loading, off-loading, segregation, and put-away to maintain productivity and smooth execution.
- Make sure goods are handled correctly and that quality, safety, and security rules are followed throughout warehouse operations.
- Track daily outbound movement and deploy resources where needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Take part in cycle counts and stock verification exercises, and escalate any mismatches to the supervisor and inventory controller for review.
- Work closely with inventory management teams to coordinate inbound, outbound, transfer, and cross-dock processes effectively.
- Compile and share daily updates on team activities and KPIs to support visibility and operational decision-making.
- Follow company procedures and safety practices to maintain a secure work environment.
- Coach team members on the job, provide guidance, and support skill development through mentoring.
- Spot training gaps within the team and take steps to improve overall efficiency and output.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
- A diploma is mandatory; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
