Role Overview

The Team Operations Lead position is integral to maintaining the operational flow and positive employee experience at Runway East. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this part-time role is based in the Tottenham Court Road office and requires a regular onsite presence. The successful candidate will oversee company rhythms, recruitment, onboarding, culture-building, performance management, and serve as a trusted resource for employee matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment process and enhance Runway East's employer brand to attract talent.
• Create a welcoming and memorable onboarding experience for new hires.
• Lead initiatives promoting company culture, including coordinating the Culture Squad and social activities.
• Steer the goal-setting process to drive organizational focus and alignment.
• Facilitate performance management and feedback cycles.
• Act as a confidential support for managers with complex employee issues.
• Maintain and optimize people-related functions including policies, benefits, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, contributing as a core member of the executive team.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced senior professional, preferably from an early-stage startup background, comfortable multitasking and decision-making.
• Highly perceptive, able to understand unspoken dynamics effectively.
• Trusted confidant with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine approachable nature.
• Consistently reliable and detail-oriented, ensuring follow-through without supervision.
