Overview

A leading supplier in the heavy vehicle and automotive sector based in Townsville is seeking a dependable and motivated Stores Person / Delivery Driver to join their team with an immediate start. This role offers weekly pay and the possibility to advance into a permanent full-time position for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch stock efficiently within a busy spare parts and warehouse setting.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries securely.
• Transport parts and products to customers throughout Townsville and surrounding locations.
• Maintain precise inventory records to ensure stock accuracy.
• Participate in stocktakes and keep the warehouse organized.
• Operate a forklift safely and competently.
• Deliver excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a current forklift license, which is mandatory for this position.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Have prior experience in warehouse operations, stores management, logistics, or delivery driving.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and a committed work ethic.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems are advantageous.
