Overview

A leading supplier in the heavy vehicle and automotive sector based in Townsville is seeking a dependable and motivated Stores Person / Delivery Driver to join their team with an immediate start. This role offers weekly pay and the possibility to advance into a permanent full-time position for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and dispatch stock efficiently within a busy spare parts and warehouse setting.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
Load and unload deliveries securely.
Transport parts and products to customers throughout Townsville and surrounding locations.
Maintain precise inventory records to ensure stock accuracy.
Participate in stocktakes and keep the warehouse organized.
Operate a forklift safely and competently.
Deliver excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications and Requirements

Possess a current forklift license, which is mandatory for this position.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Have prior experience in warehouse operations, stores management, logistics, or delivery driving.
Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and a committed work ethic.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems are advantageous.
