Role Overview

This flagship Emporium store leadership role is responsible for shaping the customer experience, driving sales results, and building a strong, motivated retail team. The Store Manager will play a central part in delivering a high-performing store that reflects the brand’s energy and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team with clear direction and motivation to achieve sales goals and excellent service standards.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including stock control, store presentation, and visual merchandising.
• Create and execute plans to increase customer visits, sales conversion, and repeat business.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members while maintaining a positive and energetic workplace.
• Support the setup and launch of a new store, coordinating projects to ensure an efficient opening.
• Monitor financial and operational performance, manage budgets, and prepare regular reports.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements while representing the brand consistently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant brings retail leadership experience, a strong history of meeting sales targets, and the confidence to manage a busy store environment. Strong communication skills, a practical leadership style, and the ability to make decisions from data are important. A genuine interest in outdoor sports and familiarity with the Salomon range are also valued. The role requires flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
