Amer Sports is hiring a Store Manager to lead the launch and day-to-day performance of the first Arc'teryx outlet store in Sydney, located at The Mill in Alexandria, New South Wales. This position is about much more than store administration: it calls for a leader who can inspire the team from the shop floor, build a strong sense of community, make sound commercial decisions, and deliver the Arc'teryx brand vision through an exceptional guest experience.

Arc'teryx began in the Canadian Coast Mountains and is known for premium technical apparel and equipment designed with performance, craftsmanship, and problem-solving in mind. As the brand continues to expand across Australia, this role offers the chance to help shape that next stage of growth.

What you'll do

• Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing retail team.
• Stay close to the floor and ensure guests receive an outstanding in-store experience.
• Open and run a commercially strong outlet, with close control over labour, spending, and stock.
• Own the full employee journey, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development.
• Build a store culture that reflects Arc'teryx values and connects genuinely with the local community.
• Oversee product movement, visual presentation, and inventory processes.
• Support sustainability, innovation, and a spirit of outdoor exploration.
• Run weekly leadership check-ins to keep people, product, operations, and community priorities aligned.

• You have 3 to 5 years of retail leadership experience in a fast-moving environment.
• You understand how to balance people, product, and profit in a commercial setting.
• You bring strong financial awareness, including budgeting, expense control, and performance improvement.
• You enjoy building capable, confident teams and helping people grow.
• You care about sustainability, innovation, and community connection.
• You are comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and new opportunities with a calm, practical approach.
