Senior Business Development Manager - Telecom

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager specializing in the Telecom sector to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The successful candidate will have significant expertise in engaging with new clients and nurturing relationships, particularly with C-level and senior executives within the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new client acquisition and foster strong relationships at senior executive levels in the Telecom industry.
• Utilize deep knowledge of ERP, Data & Analytics, Network Services, Infrastructure including Cloud and Automation to offer comprehensive solutions aligned with client needs.
• Envision and position transformative digital business models and technology solutions tailored to customer goals and emerging business trends.
• Lead and deliver substantial technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage global, cross-functional teams along with partners and alliances throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Demonstrate experience managing outsourcing agreements and consulting projects while staying attuned to evolving industry trends and novel business models.
• Respond adeptly to proposal requests with innovative solutions and commercial model strategies.
• Exhibit a proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on change management and challenging traditional practices to seize new opportunities.
• Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be open to domestic and international travel based on client and business requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record in business development within the telecommunications sector, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in ERP, analytics, cloud infrastructure, and automation relevant to business and digital transformations.
• Experience leading large-scale technology business transformation programs.
• Ability to operate and coordinate in global, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Effective proposal development and innovative solutioning skills.
