About the Role
This opportunity is for a seasoned retail leader to own the strategy and execution of retail operations across the United States. The position focuses on improving day-to-day efficiency, elevating the customer journey, strengthening store and channel performance, and supporting steady business expansion across the retail network.
The right candidate will bring deep experience leading multi-site retail operations, improving commercial outcomes, and coaching teams to deliver consistently strong results. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership to ensure a high standard of execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and roll out retail plans that support company goals and long-term growth.
- Oversee operations across multiple retail locations and help ensure standards are applied consistently, including customer experience initiatives.
- Track sales results, operating indicators, and market patterns to spot growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Coach, develop, and manage retail leaders through feedback, performance management, and talent growth.
- Work closely with teams in Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to deliver business priorities.
- Set and maintain policies, processes, and operational practices that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Review customer feedback, market movement, and competitor activity to inform planning and decision-making.
- Guide inventory performance, merchandising execution, and operational planning to strengthen results.
- Handle retail budgets, resource planning, and operational allocation in line with company objectives.
- Lead improvement efforts that increase productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of ownership, teamwork, innovation, and customer-first leadership throughout the retail organization.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related subject is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of progressive retail leadership experience, including multi-location or regional management responsibility.
- A demonstrated history of improving operational outcomes and driving growth in retail settings.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory control, and customer experience strategy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-based approach to decisions.
- Experience with retail management systems, POS tools, inventory platforms, and business analytics software.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and lead cross-functional work in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience leading retail operations in luxury retail, consumer goods, specialty retail, fashion, or similar multi-unit environments.
- Exposure to omnichannel retail strategy and operational improvement.
- Experience supporting growth, store expansion, or retail transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to build and strengthen high-performing retail leadership teams.
