Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-zoned produce department ready for customer access at all times.
• Regularly rotate produce to remove expired items, ensuring freshness and product quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling on all produce, adhering to procedures for orders, clearances, markups, markdowns, and signage.
• Comply with food safety and cold chain protocols, including temperature monitoring, proper handling, sanitation, and observing sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock produce as needed, apply protective measures to products as required, and set up modular displays to keep the department fully replenished.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to maintain a secure and sanitary working environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being willing to work various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to help the store operate smoothly and deliver consistent service quality.
• Manage high task volume in a fast-paced environment, especially overnight hours, by planning to stay focused and energetic.
• Handle physically demanding activities including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with care to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position begins at $18.70.
