Role Overview
The Porter plays a critical role in finishing repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and office premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the WOW Operating Way consistently in daily tasks.
- Perform daily cleaning of office interiors, including emptying trash bins, cleaning floors, and dusting work surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the production area by disposing of waste, sweeping floors, removing discarded vehicle parts, and organizing tools and equipment.
- Keep parking lots and surrounding grounds tidy, including snow removal when necessary.
- Pre-wash vehicles before repairs commence.
- Clean both interior and exterior of customer vehicles upon repair completion.
- Transport vehicles to external repair facilities as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Automotive experience is a plus.
- Clear close vision.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service proficiency.
- Positive attitude and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Capable of pushing, pulling, and carrying items.
- Able to walk more than 5 miles per shift.
- Capacity to stand for over 5 hours and to sit as needed.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for brief periods.
- Operate motor vehicles safely.
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work in proximity to moving mechanical parts safely.

Compensation
Hourly wage ranges from $12 to $17, dependent on qualifications, education, and experience. Bonus programs may be available based on individual or business performance.
