Location

We are recruiting casual Health Care Workers in the Fort St. John area, British Columbia.

Compensation

• Health Care Worker: $22.00 per hour
• Registered Health Care Aide: $24.00 per hour

Main Duties

• Assist clients with personal care needs and medication management.
• Prepare light meals and provide homemaking assistance.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support clients through medical escort services.
• Provide care during overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Preferred experience providing overnight and complex care.
• Capability to deliver personal care.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, both short and extended.
• Care Aide certification and BC registry number are advantageous.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Ability to commute to assigned locations.
• Clean criminal record with vulnerable sector clearance.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Availability to work Friday and Saturday nights.
• Residing in or willing to travel to Fort St. John, BC.
