Location
We are recruiting casual Health Care Workers in the Fort St. John area, British Columbia.
Compensation
- Health Care Worker: $22.00 per hour
- Registered Health Care Aide: $24.00 per hour
Main Duties
- Assist clients with personal care needs and medication management.
- Prepare light meals and provide homemaking assistance.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Support clients through medical escort services.
- Provide care during overnight and weekend shifts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Preferred experience providing overnight and complex care.
- Capability to deliver personal care.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, both short and extended.
- Care Aide certification and BC registry number are advantageous.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a positive, friendly demeanor.
- Ability to commute to assigned locations.
- Clean criminal record with vulnerable sector clearance.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Availability to work Friday and Saturday nights.
- Residing in or willing to travel to Fort St. John, BC.
