Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Ecommerce Specialist to be based onsite in Kolkata. The key responsibility of this role is to oversee and enhance Kidcity’s online sales platforms, including marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels. The specialist will manage product listings, competitive pricing, promotions, inventory monitoring, and order processing. Coordination with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and appealing, accurate product presentation is essential.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product listings and pricing strategies on various e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee order processing workflows.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service departments to resolve online order issues.
- Analyze sales metrics and web traffic data to track KPIs and identify growth opportunities.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotions to boost sales.
- Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to improve the digital shopping experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in managing e-commerce channels, including marketplaces and D2C platforms.
- Strong sales acumen and customer service skills focused on order management and shopper satisfaction.
- Analytical capability to interpret data, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and keep stakeholders informed.
- Prior exposure to retail, fashion, or consumer goods sectors is preferred.
- Comfortable using e-commerce tools, dashboards, and basic spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata with a focus on multitasking and meticulous attention to detail.
