Role Overview
This in-office role based at the Charlotte Warehouse operates on the second shift, with flexibility during emergencies. The Desktop Support Technician will deliver essential IT support to staff, contributing to the company's technological initiatives and teamwork within the IT department.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle IT help desk requests and resolve employee technical issues efficiently.
- Troubleshoot network problems to maintain connectivity.
- Administer Microsoft 365 remotely, including managing user accounts and settings.
- Update and maintain software and applications for internal users.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team to achieve departmental goals.
- Create training materials for staff to effectively use new hardware and software tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent hands-on experience valued.
- Proficiency in managing remote devices using Remote Desktop tools.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Ability to configure and set up basic local area networks (LAN).
- Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to operate independently without constant supervision.
- Team-oriented mindset with dedication to company objectives and positive attitude.
