Data Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics

Overview

Aaratech Inc. is looking for a skilled Data Analyst with 2 to 4 years of experience to enhance supply chain and logistics operations by providing actionable insights through data analysis. This role is based in the Greater Chicago Area and requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and examine data related to supply chain, inventory, and logistics from diverse sources.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track inventory levels, transportation metrics, and overall operational efficiency.
• Detect patterns, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, procurement, and business departments to facilitate data-informed strategies.
• Guarantee the precision and uniformity of data and the quality of reports produced.
• Communicate analytics outcomes and suggestions effectively to stakeholders.

Qualification & Skills

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Hold 2 to 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, ideally within supply chain, logistics, or operational environments.
• Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and various data visualization platforms.
• Experienced with analyzing supply chain, logistics, or inventory datasets.
• Exhibit strong analytical thinking, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Expertise

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
• Understanding of supply chain analytics, inventory oversight, and logistics reporting mechanisms.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python or R tailored for data analytics.
• Experience with ERP software like SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate add value.

Additional Information

• Annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000.
