Position Overview
As a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience in retail while delivering outstanding customer care by aligning with Walmart's core values. Your responsibilities include maintaining and organizing the Dairy/Frozen department, assisting with restocking, and ensuring products are presented effectively for sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and zone the Dairy/Frozen department effectively.
- Perform stock rotation and inspect for expired items to maintain product quality.
- Make certain all merchandise is clearly labeled with accurate pricing.
- Comply with established standards and procedures related to cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature tracking, food handling, and product rotation based on sell-by and expiration dates.
- Follow rigorous food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to maintain hygiene standards.
- Execute proper procedures involving ordering, clearance sales, price adjustments, and labeling.
- Keep promotional displays and featured products up to date and well-maintained.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe department free from clutter and hazards such as debris, foreign materials, or spills.
Compensation
The starting wage for this role is $18.05 per hour.
