Overview
The Brand Manager will be pivotal in steering Steve Madden's growth from a dominant footwear brand to a comprehensive lifestyle brand, including sub-brands such as Madden Girl and Madden NYC. This position links product, marketing, creative, and partnerships to craft compelling brand stories and spearhead key growth strategies that enhance cultural relevance and commercial success.
Primary Duties
- Act as a key integrator among marketing, creative, merchandising, e-commerce, and wholesale departments
- Maintain rigorous oversight of timelines, deliverables, and execution with urgency and precision
- Apply a flexible and solution-focused approach in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Identify and develop strategic brand partnerships that generate buzz and attract new customers
- Function as a principal liaison among collaborators, ensuring cohesive alignment from concept to launch
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, utilizing support and available resources
- Complete additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
- Between 5 to 8+ years in brand management, marketing, or similar roles—preferably within fashion or retail
- Strong grasp of the interplay between product, narrative, and commerce
- Hands-on experience managing collaborations, partnerships, and integrated campaigns
- Passion for fashion, trends, and culture
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $110,000 to $120,000, influenced by skills, experience, education, and organizational role.
