Role Overview
The Assistant Director – Research will collaborate closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor to plan and implement research efforts that align with the university's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Pro Vice-Chancellor in formulating and executing research projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of research strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Manage and coordinate research teams, projects, and associated budgets under leadership guidance.
- Identify potential funding sources and assist in cultivating partnerships.
- Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and ethical integrity across research activities.
- Help disseminate research outcomes through publications and participation in academic conferences and forums.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.
- Excellent analytical abilities, writing skills, and project management experience.
- Demonstrated success through published work or securing research funding.
