Role Overview

The Assistant Director – Research will collaborate closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor to plan and implement research efforts that align with the university's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pro Vice-Chancellor in formulating and executing research projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of research strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Manage and coordinate research teams, projects, and associated budgets under leadership guidance.
• Identify potential funding sources and assist in cultivating partnerships.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and ethical integrity across research activities.
• Help disseminate research outcomes through publications and participation in academic conferences and forums.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.
• Excellent analytical abilities, writing skills, and project management experience.
• Demonstrated success through published work or securing research funding.
