About the Role

As a Transportation Analyst based in Cleveland, OH, you will be instrumental in managing key Transportation Management processes including procurement, Freight Bill Audit & Payment, and Shipment Planning & Execution to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyze key performance indicators using transportation management systems to identify root causes and drive improvements.
- Handle support activities such as ensuring data processing accuracy and timeliness, generating reports, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Engage directly with clients to resolve issues and assist with implementation efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with internal subject matter experts to address problems and support new initiatives.
- Produce and distribute regular customer metrics and performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Prepare necessary reports and update internal systems including SCLM and SCMP.
- Initiate and monitor continuous process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate transportation network costs and service levels, and implement improvement strategies in partnership with the Account Executive.
- Oversee transportation management procurement activities to optimize cost and service solutions.
- Assist in preparing materials for client quarterly and monthly account reviews.
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities at assigned accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English for positions located in Quebec.
- Strong planning and organizational aptitude.
- High initiative and proactive approach to work.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex statistical information.
- Customer service oriented with an ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- College degree or technical certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related fields; alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Transportation.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience within the industry.
- At least two years of experience related to freight flow and Transportation Management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet applications at a beginner level.
