Job Overview
This position entails delivering tier 1 to tier 1.5 technical assistance within a Microsoft-centric environment, primarily focusing on Meraki network tools and Active Directory management. You will join a team of 13 professionals at a solutions center in Houston, providing support to a diverse group of users and managing daily incoming support requests. The role offers the flexibility of working remotely one day per week, supporting a balance between collaborative work and independent tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer tier 1 to 1.5 technical support to users operating within Microsoft environments, ensuring timely resolution of their technical problems.
- Employ Meraki tools to oversee network management and monitoring, optimizing network performance.
- Administer user accounts and group policy settings in Active Directory in line with company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to address daily support tickets, delivering excellent customer service.
- Support account provisioning and onboarding to guarantee new users gain access to required systems seamlessly.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify and fix technical issues, enhancing user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in a Microsoft environment with strong familiarity with relevant technologies and support mechanisms.
- Proven expertise using Meraki for network management and monitoring tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation focused on user support and satisfaction.
- Experience with account provisioning processes for accurate user account management.
- Knowledge of ConnectWise, Auvik alerting, or SolarWinds is advantageous but not mandatory.
