Role Overview

As a Storeperson at our Humpty Doo branch, reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary responsibility will involve managing the timely and safe receipt and dispatch of orders. This role offers diverse tasks that contribute directly to efficient branch operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general administrative duties including stock management, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
• Unload stock deliveries from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts adhering to safety standards.
• Accurately check and process stock movements in and out of storage.
• Maintain neat and presentable branch displays, ensuring shelves are consistently stocked for sales.
• Proactively ensure the cleanliness and safety of the site at all times.
• Handle counter sales transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Follow all prescribed safety protocols and procedures diligently.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience supporting a team environment in a fast-paced workplace.
• A strong enthusiasm for Australian farming and the agricultural industry.
• Possession of a forklift license and a valid standard driver's license (essential).
• Possession of a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail in handling tasks.
• Strong verbal communication skills to develop and maintain enduring customer relationships.
• Ability to resolve customer issues thoughtfully and effectively with problem-solving and empathy.
