Job description
Role Overview
We are offering an exciting opportunity for two Service Improvement Facilitators to join our Improvement Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. These roles are integral to developing and strengthening our Quality Management System and fostering a sustainable culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying expertise in quality improvement methodologies, including the Model for Improvement, PDSA cycles, process mapping, demand and capacity analysis, facilitation, and patient/carer engagement.
- Building capacity and capability among teams and individuals by delivering coaching, workshops, and formal training sessions focused on quality improvement tools and sustaining improvements.
- Collaborating closely with project sponsors to use a quality improvement coaching approach to design and implement change initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
- Supporting priority improvement programmes and Quality Strategy implementation across clinical and non-clinical services to ensure better patient and service outcomes.
Candidate Profile
We seek motivated individuals experienced in quality improvement methods, Lean tools, project management, coaching, facilitation, and training, capable of engaging a variety of teams and driving meaningful service transformation.
