Senior System Integration Presales Engineer

Overview

The Senior System Integration Presales Engineer position is pivotal in handling significant public sector projects within Saudi Arabia. This role encompasses the entire presales process, including analyzing tenders, positioning solutions, and submitting proposals. The focus lies in crafting integrated IT and digital transformation strategies that comply with governmental standards and procurement regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive presales efforts for public sector bids, managing RFP, RFI, and RFQ lifecycles.
• Develop detailed understanding documents from RFPs to assist solution architects.
• Evaluate tender specifications and prepare technically and commercially compliant proposals.
• Design and promote solutions spanning IT infrastructure, ERP systems, consulting, managed services, and digital transformation sectors.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery teams, technology alliances, and subject matter experts to create winning bids.
• Interact with public sector representatives to capture requirements and align solutions effectively.
• Prepare and present solutions via presentations, demos, and executive briefings.
• Oversee bid scheduling, documentation, governance, ensuring punctual proposal submissions.
• Ensure complete compliance with Saudi Arabia's public procurement laws, standards, and submission processes.
• Coordinate among internal and external stakeholders throughout bid preparation and evaluation stages.
• Offer support in clarifications, negotiations, and client interactions after submission.
• Conduct thorough market research, competitor assessments, and benchmarking to enhance bid positioning.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Experience Requirements

• Between 4 and 8 years' experience in presales or solution consulting focused on public sector engagements in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record in handling government tenders and responding to large-scale RFPs.
• Background in one or more areas such as IT infrastructure and services, ERP platforms (like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), management and technology consulting, digital transformation, and e-government initiatives.
• Experience working with government or semi-government clients in Saudi Arabia.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional team collaboration.

Skills and Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian government procurement procedures and protocols.
• Proficient in proposal writing, documentation, and delivering presentations.
• Capable of managing multiple concurrent bids under stringent deadlines.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is mandatory.
