Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operator Consulting based in the United States to lead and expand a high-performing consulting organization. This role is pivotal in driving transformative outcomes for enterprise clients by blending commercial expertise, operational transformation, technology enablement, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale the Operator Consulting function from an emerging team into a mature, robust capability.
- Foster a unified culture promoting collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and lead consulting leaders and teams to excel in performance.
- Define operational models, methodologies, processes, and governance structures for global consistency.
- Serve as a senior escalation point and ensure alignment with organizational standards across regions.
- Manage consulting pipelines covering business development, retention, account growth, and strategic opportunities.
- Provide executive-level guidance and transformation advice to enterprise clients.
- Shape commercial narratives, transformation strategies, and value propositions for major client projects.
- Partner with sales, account management, and business development teams to enable consultative selling and revenue acceleration.
- Develop consulting leads responsible for client transformation programs and contracted deliverables.
- Ensure consulting deliverables are effective, high quality, and deliver measurable impact.
- Support presales activities, industry events, marketing initiatives, and market-facing solutions development.
- Build cross-functional communities and professional development programs within consulting teams.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and innovative approaches such as AI, automation, and customer experience platforms.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting organizations, systems integrators, customer experience groups, or BPO environments.
- Proven track record in customer experience transformation, consulting engagements, deal structuring, and commercial strategy.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, project management, communications, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor, and scale high-performance teams.
- Strong consultative sales experience engaging enterprise executives and handling complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, including influencing C-suite leaders in matrixed organizations.
- Entrepreneurial outlook with capability to create strategies, establish processes, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience managing large-scale change initiatives and embedding new operating models.
- Strong program management skills managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling abilities.
- Experience in operational performance metrics management including revenue tracking, capacity planning, and ROI analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, CRM, and customer experience solutions.
- Broad industry expertise and ability to apply consulting skills across various sectors and business models.
